The "SNAP" That Nearly Ended My Life

From Rockstar to Rock Bottom to Rocking Life

For decades, I wore every hat: wife, mother, business owner, PTO president, DJ. From the outside, it looked like this people-pleaser had it all together.

​​

Eventually, behind closed doors, I suffered in silence.

​

I wanted to be a present Mom so I put my career on the shelf to raise my beautiful kids. I was financially tangled, depressed and isolated after a cross-country move, caring for a parent with Alzheimer's, and trapped in a marriage that had become unsafe.

Alcohol became my escape, "Mommy time" until it became my prison.

​​

I told myself I was just in a funk. That I could handle it. That I'd pull myself out. But the coping mechanisms that once numbed the pain started destroying everything I loved.

​

I was lonely, lost, ashamed, and completely disconnected from myself and GOD.

​​

After a series of devastating events, it got dark. So dark I thought everyone would be better off without my messy ass, I SNAPPED and attempted suicide. 

​​

Rock bottom became the reset I needed.

​

GOD saved my life.
