What is Value for Value?
The Value for Value (V4V) model is a voluntary monetization system, as defined and popularized by Adam Curry- "The Podfather" (MTV legend, Co-Inventor of Podcasting), where creators release content and consumers choose to return value (via money, time, or talent) based on how much they benefited.
It operates on the reciprocity principle and it removes clunky paywalls and ads.

Consume: You listen to the podcast or read the content.

Evaluate: You decide what that value was worth to you.

Return: You send value back via Bitcoin (Lightning) or fiat currency.
This model eliminates controlling intermediaries like advertisers or centralized subscription platforms (Netflix/Spotify/Youtube) where creators:

Do NOT have transparency in who is consuming their content

Have to wait up to 12 months for a payout
The V4V model brings back control in the hands of creators and educators and fosters a direct peer-to-peer relationship with fans, consumers, and students.
